1. Legal Advice and Opinions

2. Drafting and Reviewing Documents

Drafting and vetting contracts, agreements, memorandums of understanding (MoUs), and service-level agreements (SLAs).

3. Litigation Management

Represent or coordinate legal representation of MSSC in courts, tribunals, or arbitration proceedings.

Maintain records of ongoing litigations and monitor the progress of each case.

4. Compliance Monitoring

Ensure the Corporation complies with laws related to:

Labour and employment (e.g., EPF, ESI, Minimum Wages)

🎓 Required Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualifications:

LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree from a recognized university.

Preference may be given to candidates with LLM or those enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa.

Experience:

Varies by recruitment cycle, but generally:

5–10 years of legal practice or experience in legal advisory roles.

Experience in government legal work or corporate legal departments is a plus.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of Indian legal system, particularly labour law, service law, contract law, and criminal law.

Proficiency in legal drafting, research, and negotiation.

Good communication skills in English and Marathi.

Ability to work with government departments and law enforcement agencies.

The position may be contractual or permanent, depending on the appointment rules.
