Legal Consultants at Law Commission of India
The Law Commission of India is inviting applications for 6 Legal Consultant posts on a contractual basis. These consultants will assist the Commission in its research and legislative reform activities.

Salary: ₹60,000 per month (fixed)
Contract Duration: Initially 1 year, with the possibility of extension based on performance
Age Limit: Candidates must be below 32 years of age as of the application deadline
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a law degree, such as LL.B., B.A. LL.B., or B.Sc. LL.B. from a recognized university.
Skills Required:
Strong legal research and writing skills
Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)
Good command of computer applications, including drafting documents, creating presentations (PowerPoint), and working with spreadsheets (Excel)
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed legal research on various topics referred by the Law Commission.
Assist in drafting reports, legal opinions, and recommendations.
Help in analyzing existing laws and suggesting reforms.
Support the Commission in its legislative and policy formulation work.
Attend meetings and coordinate with stakeholders as needed.

Terms and Conditions:

Consultants must maintain strict confidentiality regarding the Commission’s documents and discussions.
All reports, drafts, and documents prepared by the consultant will remain the property of the Law Commission.
Periodic performance reviews will be conducted to assess the consultants' work.
