Section 10 – Power to appoint Probation Officers and others
The State Government may appoint Probation Officers to assist the courts in exercising their powers under the Act.
The State Government may also appoint other persons to supervise offenders released on probation or under other provisions of the Act.
Probation Officers and such persons shall perform duties as prescribed by the State Government or the court.
