*ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation: The Central Forensic Bureau received international accreditation for alcohol analysis in human blood, marking a significant milestone in forensic standars.
*Training Programs: Over 40 forensic experts have undergone intensive training in quality management, evidence handling, and laboratory procedurs.
*Quality Management Systems: Development of standard operating procedures and checklists to ensure consistency and reliability in forensic analyss.
*UNFPA Training Initiatives
In August 2024, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) organized a training session for 34 forensic experts, prosecutors, and police offices, The focus was on enhancing capacities in forensic medical expertise related to sexual and domestic violene, International expert Dr. Naim Zishan led the training, covering ethical considerations, evidence collection, and best practices in forensic medicie.

Forensic examinations in Turkmenistan are conducted in accordance with Order No. 311 of 4 October 2017, which outlines procedures for the forensic assessment of cadavr. This order, approved by various governmental bodies, mandates that such examinations be carried out upon the decision of an investigator, prosecutor, or judge to determine the cause of death and address other pertinent questins.
